Write about what you’d planned to do.

 Last summer, I had planned to improve my self. I wanted to get better at soccer and be more healthy. I wanted to go explore some places and go out more. Unfortunately, the weather was very hot and I could not stand the heat. So, I stayed home most of the times and played video games. The only place I went was New York and explored the city and other places.
